How to get to the centre of Brussels from the airports

Brussels International Airport
(14 km North-East from city centre / 20 to 30-min. journey)

  • Train: Brussels Airport Express: approx. 6 departures per hour, tickets €8.80 - located at underground level 1. To find a suitable train, use the transit planner on the mobile website m.sncb.be or on the SNCB app - All the info on www.sncb.be
  • Bus: STB Airport line: lines no. 12 and 21 / stop platform C - level 0.
  • Taxis: outside the airport.

Charleroi Airport
(60 km south from city centre / 1-hour journey)

  • Bus liaison: line A for the Charleroi railway station, then by train to the central station (ticket: there are automatic tellers at your disposal near the TEC bus boarding area, located on the left after the terminal exit. You can buy a dual ticket bus + train or a bus ticket only, if you already have an SNCB travel ticket.
  • Every 30 minutes, the Brussels city shuttle travels between the airport and Brussel-Zuid/Bruxelles-Midi station.
  • Taxis: outside the airport.

FORMALITIES

Citizens of EU Member States must hold a valid ID card or passport.
Other citizens must contact the Belgian Consulate in their country to obtain visas if applicable.
